WHAT’S YOUR TIPICO STORY?

I joined Tipico because I wanted to work somewhere fast-paced and data-driven. From the very first conversation with the Talent Acquisition team, this role felt like the perfect mix of analysis, problem-solving, and real impact. Also, I felt this was a place where I could grow, contribute, and be part of something bigger than just day-to-day tasks. Tipico offered exactly the challenge I was looking for.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF TIPICO?

My first impression was the energy that everyone showed, even during the interview process. From the structured but friendly interviews to the welcoming atmosphere in the office. The process felt professional but relaxed at the same time. I didn’t feel like I was being “tested” - it felt more like a conversation to see if we’d be a good match.

WHAT HAVE BEEN YOUR BEST MOMENTS WORKING HERE?

For me, the best moments are when we solve complex operational puzzles as a team. We work closely with Product Managers, Customer Support, and CRM to ensure a seamless flow. A great example was optimizing our lobby exposure seeing our data-driven suggestions directly influence what the player sees on the app and then watching the engagement metrics climb in real time, was incredibly rewarding. It’s that 'win' we share when the product performs exactly how we envisioned.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO YOU FACE?

No two days are the same and that’s both exciting and challenging. You have to stay organized and flexible. Balancing data analysis, stakeholder requests, and urgent operational topics keeps you on your toes. But that’s also what makes it interesting.

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT TIPICO?

The trust. You’re given responsibility early on, and your ideas actually matter. It doesn’t matter if you’re new - if you see something that can be improved, people will listen.

Also, the mix of people. Different nationalities, different backgrounds but everyone pulls in the same direction.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY PITCH LOOK LIKE? AND WHAT DOES YOUR DEPARTMENT DO?

My day starts with a deep dive into our performance dashboards. As an Operations Analyst, I’m looking at the health of our casino product - monitoring everything from betting patterns to technical performance (spikes, issues, or trends worth looking at).

Our department acts as the central nervous system of Tipico Games. We don't just report data; we translate it into operational insight. We bridge the gap between the technical Product teams and the front-line Customer Support. If there’s a friction point in the player journey—be it a login issue or bad functional game—we are the ones identifying the root cause and coordinating the fix to keep the game going.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO?

I’m excited about pushing automation and building smarter reporting. The more we can rely on real-time insights, the better decisions we can make. In addition to learning from my colleagues every day.

And of course, growing within the company. iGaming evolves fast, and that means there’s always something new to learn.

AS YOU KNOW WE LOVE SPORTS… WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE?

Without a doubt, tennis is my favourite sport, but I also follow major league football closely and always enjoy its competitive spirit, strategy and passion. As for sports I like to practise, I must say that I love swimming, especially here in Malta where there are so many beaches.

WHAT IS YOUR ONE PIECE OF ADVICE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF OUR GAME?

Be curious, be proactive, and always be open to learning. Tipico moves fast, and the people who thrive here are those who take ownership of their growth and embrace challenges with enthusiasm.
