Our Human Resources department at Tipico is looking to hire a  Reward Specialist (m/f/x)  for our team in Malta to provide expertise and contribute to the development of the total reward area. We look for a creative and energized individual who can support us in ensuring that Tipico remains competitive in the marketplace. The main purpose of this role is to support the design and implementation of reward and recognition frameworks that support our high-performance culture, reinforce our values, engage our people and enables us to be recognized as an ' Employer of Choice .'

Your playing field

  • Collaborate.  You will collaborate closely with our Reward Manager to review and enhance the existing reward framework and implement appropriate and competitive reward strategies.
  • Sharing of information.  You will provide information and source data to analyze Tipico's existing Reward tools and frameworks.
  • Data analysis.  You will analyze data in order to assess the effectiveness of employee remuneration, compensation and all other employee benefits
  • Provide support.  You will provide support on the Annual Reward processes including Salary Review, Salary Benchmarking/Surveys, Job Evaluations and Benefits.
  • Reporting.  You will create clear and comprehensive reports which present data and information in a range of formats.
  • Communication.  You will ensure that HR colleagues are kept informed regarding current Reward market trends, developments and best practices.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

  • University Degree.  You have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or Reward Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Work Experience.  You have some years of experience working in a reward-related role in a fast-moving industry.
  • Ownership.  You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for work and the impact of the Reward framework on the business.
  • Collaboration and organization skills.  You display excellent organizational skills; you are able to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines. You are strong in stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Solution Focused.  You are a proactive, innovative and solution-orientated team player with a hands-on approach and attitude.
  • Reporting and Analytics.  You have advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to comprehensively translate data into written reports; You are experienced in working with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Total Reward tools.  You have very good knowledge of job grading and salary benchmarking tools, e.g. Willis Towers Watson.
