Our Human Resources department at Tipico is looking to hire a Reward Specialist (m/f/x)  for our team in Malta to provide expertise and contribute to the development of the total reward area. We look for a creative and energized individual who can support us in ensuring that Tipico remains competitive in the marketplace. The main purpose of this role is to support the design and implementation of reward and recognition frameworks that support our high-performance culture, reinforce our values, engage our people and enables us to be recognized as an ' Employer of Choice .'

Your playing field: 

  • Partner with colleagues to review, refine, and strengthen our Reward framework, ensuring we stay competitive in the talent league.
  • Gather and analyse Reward data to evaluate the effectiveness of our compensation, remuneration, and benefits programmes.
  • Support key annual Reward initiatives, including Salary Reviews, Benchmarking Surveys, Job Evaluations, and Benefits reviews.
  • Turn complex data into clear, insightful reports that help drive informed decision-making.
  • Keep a close eye on market trends, emerging practices, and industry developments, ensuring our Reward strategy stays ahead of the game.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to provide valuable Reward insights and recommendations that enhance the employee experience.
  • Help shape Reward strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top talent while supporting business goals.

  Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

  • Education. You have a Bachelor's degree in HR, Reward Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience. You bring 2+ years of experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or a similar role, and you're ready to make an impact from day one.
  • Ownership. You take responsibility, follow through, and aren't afraid to take the ball and run with it. You understand how Reward programmes influence performance, engagement, and business success.
  • Collaboration & Organisation. You thrive in a team environment, know how to manage multiple priorities, and can keep projects moving forward even when the pace picks up. Building strong partnerships with stakeholders comes naturally to you.
  • Solution-Focused. You love finding smarter ways of working, tackle challenges head-on, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do.
  • Reporting & Analytics. You're comfortable working with numbers, have strong Excel skills, and enjoy turning data into insights that help shape better decisions.
  • Reward Know-How. You understand the fundamentals of job grading, salary benchmarking, and market analysis, and ideally have experience with tools such as Willis Towers Watson or similar platforms.
