Tipico is looking for a Product Manager Retail (m/f/x) to join our team. Grow with us, introduce us to new ideas and develop products that maximise the thrill of sports for our customers. Every day, you’ll work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward.
Your playing field:
- Ownership . You will lead the retail product and feature initiatives through the entire development lifecycle and release them to deliver value to our customers
- Supporting. As a collaborative person, you will support the Product Lead in defining and executing the area product strategy to achieve business objectives
- User Stories. Act as Product Manager for development teams by defining Epics, User Stories and guide the efforts of the Development Teams in an Agile working environment
- Quality. You are responsible for story UAT and sign-off ensuring requirements and overall quality is met. Thererfore you collaborate closely with the Product and Technical leads as well as other Product Managers to produce delivery plans and ensure delivery of high quality, defect-free products
- Retail focus. You work closely with our Retail department and stores to ensure their requirements are collected and prioritized alongside product requirements
- Legal / License . Always following the guidelines for any legal and regularity topics that come across the way when working on the product.
- Research. You will conduct market and competitive research and keep up-to-date with emerging new online technologies, trends in the digital landscape and leading industry practices.
Which skills should you bring to the pitch:
- Education . You have a bachelor’s degree in a business or technical area
- Experience. For building the best product possible, you ideally bring +3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Product delivery. You have experience and passion for delivering great products to the customers, ideally in the retail shop area.
- Strong customer focus. You have the ability to empathize with customer motivations and desires
- Agile environment. You have experience working in an agile environment and have a strong understanding of product/software delivery lifecycle.This is about learning and adapting, continuously improving what we do to deliver a valuable product to our customers. You collaborate and communicate leading to team success
- Project management skills. You have basic project management skills including product-based planning techniques, business case creation & maintenance and issues handling
- Team player . We love learning from each other, great ideas are shaped and inspired by other ideas in order to achieve the simplest, smartest and safest solution
- Language Skills. As an international company with more than 45 nationalities, English is our main language. However, being the #1 Sportsbetting provider in Germany, speaking and reading German on a professional level, is a plus.
