The Product Manager – Compliance (m/f/x) is responsible for managing end-to-end compliance and regulatory requirements for our products, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining a seamless user experience. By collaborating with the Compliance team, developing a strong product strategy around compliance, and effectively communicating requirements, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to building compliant products, protecting the business, and fostering customer trust. - Take ownership of managing the end-to-end compliance and regulatory requirements for all our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. This is crucial to protect our business, build trust with our customers, and avoid any penalties or legal issues.
- By working hand in hand with experts in compliance, you will ensure that our products are in full compliance with regulations, reducing any potential risks and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- You will assist the Product Owner in developing a strong product strategy around compliance items and proactively address regulatory changes and minimize any potential disruptions to our product roadmap.
- Clear and efficient communication is vital to ensure that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of compliance requirements, enabling us to deliver compliant products within the desired timelines.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of existing product user-flows/journeys, product specifications, and compliance requirements. By keeping these documents up-to-date, you can easily track changes, maintain compliance standards, and ensure a seamless transition for any future updates or audits.
- Take responsibility for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off, ensuring that requirements and overall quality are met. Thorough testing and sign-off processes are essential to ensure that our products not only meet compliance requirements but also deliver a seamless and exceptional user experience, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Which skills you should bring to the pitch:
- Regulatory Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to sports betting and iGaming compliance.
- Product Management : Strong product management skills, at least 5 yrs (+), including experience in defining product specifications, creating roadmaps, and managing the end-to-end product development process.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess compliance requirements, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, Compliance Department, Product Owner, and Customer Experience teams.
- Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Ability to quickly grasp new regulatory changes, adapt to evolving compliance requirements, and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Continuous learning and staying ahead of compliance best practices are essential in this role.
- Language. As the market leader in Germany, dealing with regulations and authorities, strong German skills (verbal and written) are mandatory for this position.
