If so, our Operational Risk Manager (m/f/x) role may be just the right position for you! As a Risk Manager (m/f/x) you'll play a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly and securely. You'll take charge of maintaining and enhancing our risk management framework, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our company. In collaboration with the team, you'll be the driving force behind protecting our company's reputation and profitability.

Your playing field:

  • In order to ensure the smooth and secure operations of our business, you will shape and refine the current Risk Management Framework, therefore you will develop strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Tailoring to the unique risk management practices of Zastrpay, you will drive the continuous development and integration of an operational and reputational risk management framework.
  • You will take the reins in developing our Internal Control Framework, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure accountability and effectiveness. Provide expert guidance to the business and control functions, evaluating new systems, procedures, and services prior to implementation.
  • We are always looking to improve our product, so you will collaborate closely with other business units to identify and manage risk exposures stemming from new products, services, or initiatives. While working hand-in-hand with other teams to implement effective risk mitigation plans, you will play a pivotal role in cross-functional coordination.
  • By encouraging and empowering all members of the organization to actively engage in risk management practices, you will foster a proactive Risk Culture.


Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

  • Educational Background . Bachelors Degree in  Business Administration or a related field of study as well as professional qualifications and certificates in risk management and operational risk management would be highly beneficial
  • Experience. Proficiency in working with industry-standard risk management tools and software, enabling efficient risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
  • Regulatory Knowledge. Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry guidelines.
  • Analytical mind set. Strong analytical abilities and the aptitude to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively. Proven experience in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing risk controls.
  • Communication is key. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder management at all levels. The ability to convey complex risk concepts in a clear and concise manner is crucial.

  Additional Skills:

  • Fluent in English, oral and written – essential.  German language skills are desirable.
