Your daily pitch
Are you looking for your next role within a dynamic HR environment? Have you been previously involved in HR Operations projects and payroll? Would you describe yourself as reliable, detail-oriented and someone who sees the bigger picture? If so, our Human Resources department may be the ideal environment for you. We are looking to hire a n HR Assistant (m/f/x) to join our HR team in Malta. You will provide support and expertise to employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, being involved in topics as data quality and audits and with your previous experience you will be supporting with payroll.

Your playing field
- You will be working hand in hand with our HR Assistants to ensure data quality is immaculate and employee records in Sage People are updated. You are supporting administrative tasks such as drafting contractual paperwork and collaborating with the HR Business Partners to guarantee that all HR processes are consistently and smoothly executed.
- You will be liaising with local authorities, ensuring compliance with all necessary processes both internal and external.
- Your previous exposure to payroll enables you to support payroll related topics including being the back-up for the monthly payroll cycle when required and ensuring all payroll priorities are covered accordingly.
- You will support with the annual insurances’ renewal, collaborating closely with the reward team and presenting insurance overviews to employees.
- In close collaboration with the finance team and other internal departments you are providing HR data for internal reporting purposes working on external audits and any related activities.
- Working collaboratively with the wider HR team, you’ll be exposed to global HR initiatives and programmes while evaluating and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement in order to achieve the business goals from a People and Organisation perspective.
Which skills should you bring to the pitch
- Qualification. You are holding a Bachelors’ in HR Management or a relevant Diploma. A CIPD qualification or similar is desirable.
- Experience. You bring some years of relevant experience within HR Operations or in a similar role, working with HR and payroll systems
- Tech Savvy. Good knowledge and experience in working with HR and payroll systems are essential.
- Ownership. Approaching work proactively and seeing the bigger picture is important for this role. You feel comfortable identifying and addressing issues, working independently or within the team.
- Hands-on. You are focused on achieving excellent results and able to challenge the status quo by being confident in your abilities and knowledge, as well as always open to learn and expand your expertise.
- Collaborative. Cross departmental collaboration helps you to achieve our business goals.
