The purpose of this role is to lead the Player Safety department to ensure that all operational Responsible Gaming,  GDPR, Legal and complaints processes are followed with precision in order to mitigate compliance breaches.  The role holder needs to build, lead and develop a high-performing team, both upskilling present resources as well as hiring highly skilled resources to strengthen the team further.

Your playing field:

  • You will work closely with our Director of Customer Operations to develop and execute the Player Safety strategy and reach set targets
  • Take ownership of Leading the B2C operational alignment between two of our pillars, Online and Retail
  • Processes are the core of our operations, it is important to make sure that processes are documented to a high standard, are always up to date and capture data points to stay on top of all behaviours
  • Lead a team of Responsible Gaming and GDPR & Legal Analysts, mentoring and motivating the teams to achieve high productivity and engagement, whilst also ensuring high capability to deal with complex cases
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring strong monitoring systems are in place to mitigate compliance breaches
  • We are consistently reinventing ourselves, report on our operational performance and share your ideas and improvements to Senior Management up to C- Level
  • Together with other team members #oneteam, we maintain Success Rates at optimal levels with special attention to EDD SR% while gathering an in depth understanding of all verification tools
  • Keep up to date with all Customer Operation developments, whilst also building strong relationships with the MLRO, our Compliance team and other senior stakeholder

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience. Working within Player Safety/Responsible Gaming at mid-management level at the least, 3 of them working at Head of level and in the iGaming sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree . post-secondary qualification or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Excellent Understanding of all Customer Operations Functions. We need your knowledge to reach our goals, along with the understanding of Verification and AML tools.
  • Strong Knowledge of EU . (4th AMLD, 5th AMLD), German License & MGA regulations
  • Languages. Our #oneteam consists of more than 40 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission. English is the way we communicate within the company– score some extra points with us if you can speak and write in German too.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills. Developing, managing and inspiring your team members is essential.
  • Strong Stakeholder management and Influencing skills.  Excellent presentation skills – You know how to manage and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Advanced analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. We need your data analytics and reporting skills to come up with the best solutions for us. You are also strong with numbers and resource planning.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills. Especially Powerpoin
