As AML Officer Shop (m/f/x) you will be responsible for the management and compliance of the company's obligations regarding money laundering and terrorist financing on the retail basis.
Your playing field:
- Build and implement a robust AML framework and risk management methodology for Tipico's store business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of the AML framework by conducting regular improvement cycles, incorporating industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Take charge of reporting activities pertaining to AML risk management, providing comprehensive insights to aid decision-making and strategic planning.
- Maintain open lines of communication with senior management and the Board, delivering timely updates on audits, investigations, and reviews in progress.
- Assume a leadership role in guiding and supporting AML teams (B2B and B2B2C) in the creation or enhancement of retail policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of AML-related procedures across internal departments and functional areas to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Perform diligent reviews of internal suspicious transaction/activity reports, promptly escalating relevant cases to appropriate authorities for further action.
Which skills you should bring to the pitch:
- Experienced. You have at least 5 years experience in a regulated industry – preferably in retail business.
- Detail Oriented. You are energised by scrutinising information and documentation to ensure validity.
- Communication. Knowing what to say, how to say is one of your strengths. For this role you will bring all your communications skills to the pitch as you have a good feeling for situations and can de-escalate them if needed.
- Team Player. We are #onetipico helping each other to achieve our overall goals and like to welcome a real team player to our winning team.
- Language Skills . Our team consists of more than 50 different nationalities working together to achieve the Tipico mission. English is the official language of the Tipico Malta office. For this position, you would also require fluent German skills.
