Your daily pitch

The HR Business Partner will join the HR Team to collaborate with the stakeholders across the Services, and Digital units in all the various aspects of employee relations and people management. We emphasize on building close relationships with people managers, understanding the business direction and needs, and coaching and mentoring to ensure the best approach.

Your playing field

You will collaborate closely with the Lead HR Business Partner, HR Team, and leadership team to deliver and implement the People and Organisation strategy across Tipico.
You build strong partnerships with people managers to execute HR strategies, policies, and practices with a solution-focused mindset and promote our Tipico leadership standards and our core values.
You manage employee relations cases, supporting managers and employees to mitigate risk for the business and ensure that best-practice HR is being adopted.
You support and coach management and leadership in resolving people matters and in applying talent management, L&D, and rewards tools for effective management, engagement, and retention of employees.
You love data - Support proactively driving high-quality employee data and analytics to ensure valuable input for business decisions.
You contribute directly to your pillar recruitment initiatives, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the right talent is hired in a timely manner.
You will lead and contribute to projects within the HR Roadmap to continuously add value to the business.
You have a hands-on mentality - Support the HR department with any administrative matters as and when required.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch

Work Experience. You bring at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a proven track record of advising senior leaders, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and influencing people decisions across a broad range of HR topics.
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree. In Business Administration, HR Management, or equivalent qualification.
Industry experience. Experience in Tech, Online, or iGaming industries is a strong plus. You’re comfortable working in dynamic, multinational environments where priorities can move quickly.
Hard-skilled. You’re confident working with HR systems, employee data, and analytics, using insights to support decision-making. Experience contributing to HR projects or initiatives is an added advantage.
Coaching Mindset. You enjoy supporting and mentoring managers, helping them grow into confident and effective people leaders - something that is a key focus at Tipico.
Languages. English is essential as it’s our company language. German is also important since you will be based in our German office, and would help you connect even more closely with parts of the business.

Damit punktest du bei uns

Qualifikation. Du bringst einen Bachelor oder Masterabschluss in Sozialwissenschaften, Psychologie, Politikwissenschaften, Mathematik oder eine ähnliche Ausbildung mit.
Expertise. Du hast bereits einschlägige Berufserfahrung an der Schnittstelle zwischen Wissenschaft und Politik sammeln können, zum Beispiel im wissenschaftlichen Dienst und/oder bringst Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position aus einem stark regulierten Umfeld mit.
Analytisches Mindset. Deine ausgeprägten Analyse- und Forschungsfähigkeiten paarst du mit solidem Methodenwissen, kannst komplexe Inhalte verständlich kommunizieren und arbeitest selbstständig sowie strukturiert.
Tools. Du bist sicher im Umgang mit den gängigen MS Office Tools, insbesondere Excel und hast auch bereits Erfahrung im Einsatz gängiger analytischer Tools sammeln können (i.e. Tableau, Power BI).

You will increase customer retention and engagement with a focus on our Games product through excellent multi-channel communication and event driven ad-hoc promotions. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement of customers with refreshing, perfectly executed campaigns and relevant communication cycles. Your focus is on customer engagement by constant optimization of customer communication, website content and user experience.

Your playing field:

Build campaigns and user journeys using CRM and CMS tools.
Plan and execute promotions, including setup across various gaming supplier back offices.
Write marketing copy, manage campaign assets, launch ad hoc campaigns based on KPI performance.
Manage and optimize automated customer lifecycle communications across all channels, aligned with website content.
Create targeted personalized bonus campaigns for relevant user segments.

Experience. 5+ years in a similar FP&A or finance role, ideally within an online, gaming, or fast-paced industry.
Technical Skills. Highly proficient in SQL and Excel, with hands-on experience in financial modelling using advanced functions and pivot tables.
Stakeholder Management. Strong influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and confidently challenge and align stakeholders.
Analytical Mind. You think strategically, dive deep into data, and translate insights into clear, impactful decisions.

As our Head of HR Business Partnering — you’ll lead, coach and develop our team of HR Business Partners to deliver a best-in-class support across our international locations. Partner with the Director of HR to design and execute the people strategy, ensuring alignment with Tipico-wide goals and culture.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

Qualification. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experienced. At least 10 years’ HR Business Partnering experience, with at least 3-5 years in a people management role
Industry experience. Experience of working in an online, gaming, or fast-moving industry is required
Hard-skilled. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Data Driven. Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to make people decisions.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex situations in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communicator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – You know how to manage and negotiate with stakeholders and partners.
