As Data Engineer (m/f/x) you will develop and maintain high quality data analytics capabilities and enable state of the art and accurate continuous compliance monitoring over the licensed group entities.
Your playing field:
- Data . For ensuring the highest quality possible and availability of relevant data you will provide requirements and consulting for creation and structuring of raw data.
- Supervision. You will supervise data sources used for implementation of regulatory requirements and reporting and monitor performance and level of adherence of operational and automated processes.
- Visualising . You will provide capabilities for data multidimensional visualisation and document capabilities.
- Best practice . For reliable compliance monitoring within the whole organisation, you will align best data analytics practices.
- Improve. Good is never good enough. Therefore, you will analyse the quality of monitoring capabilities within the organisation to detect potential improvement areas.
- Investigate . Stay curious and Investigate alerts, KPI deviations and other findings.
- Reporting . Always share what’s going on and prepare reports and updates for the senior management.
Which skills you should bring to the pitch:
- Experienced. You have at least 6 years experience in Gambling or any other regulated industry. Extensive knowledge of data analysis methods, data structuring, data mining and query languages, streaming analytics (e.g., Kafka)
- Detail Oriented. You are energised by scrutinising information and documentation to ensure validity.
- Team Player. We are #onetipico helping each other to achieve our overall goals and like to welcome a real team player to our winning team.
- Tech Savvy. You are skilled in producing data analysis methods, data structuring, data mining and query languages, streaming analytics (e.g., Kafka)
- Language Skills . Our team consists of more than 50 different nationalities working together to achieve the Tipico mission. English is the official language of the Tipico Malta office. For this position you would also require fluent German skills.
- Travelling. You would be required to travel between our different offices in Malta and Germany on a regular basis.
